William Scottland Thornton

William Scottland “Billy” Thornton, 59, of Bainbridge, died Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Tallahassee, FL. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Born January 1, 1962 in Mitchell County, Mr. Thornton was the son of Sandra Millar Thornton and the late Tim Thornton. He was a mechanic. Survivors include his three children, William Randall Thornton of Moultrie, Sandra Danielle Thornton of Pelham, and Lauren Eugenia Thornton of Pelham; his mother, Sandra Thornton of Vada; brother, Matt Thornton of Pelham; sisters, Donna Odom of Pelham, Sheila Miller of Vada, Valerie Jones of Pelham; five grandchildren. Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
