Wongel Estifanos, 6, passed away September 5, 2021 in Glenwood Springs, Colorado. She was born June 4, 2015 to her parents, Estifanos Dagne and Rahel (Negussie) Estifanos, in Denver, Colorado where she grew up. Wongel and her family moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado three years ago. Wongel was a first grader at Stetson Elementary School. She was a beautiful, caring, and cheerful girl who loved Jesus and anything bright pink. Wongel loved swimming, enjoyed dressing up like a princess, and was passionate about painting. She also loved playing and hanging out with her friends. She is survived by her parents, Estifanos Dagne and Rahel Estifanos; her brother, Yosef Estifanos; and her grandparents, Kidist Wendimagegnehu, Gossaye Dagne, Lemlem Gebre, and Getachew Negussie. Private services.
