Graveside services for Mr. Joe Curtis Blankenship, age 85, will be held at 11 am on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Beech Bluff Cemetery with Bro. Walter German and Bro. Quincy Hawkins officiating. Mr. Blankenship passed away on September 9, 2021, in Jackson, TN. He was born on December 20, 1935, in Jackson, TN to the late Curtis Green Blankenship and Mary Shoe Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship was a lifetime Beech Bluff Methodist Church member. He served on the Madison County School Board, served as Madison County Commissioner, Beech Bluff Ruritan member, ESCS committee member, and Madison County CO-OP member. He is preceded in death by his wife Maxine Stewart Blankenship. Mr. Blankenship is survived by his sons, Phillip Blankenship and wife Brenda, Randall Blankenship and wife Jennifer; daughter Susan Johnson and husband Ronnie; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday, September 13, 2021, form 10-11 am at Beech Bluff Cemetery.
