Clarence Doyce Wood, age 83 of Douglasville Georgia passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2021.  He was born on May 25, 1938 in Bremen Georgia, son of the late Dutchman Garvis Wood and the late Roxie Christene Smith Wood. Clarence retired from Capital Automobile Company as an auto mechanic with over 38 years of service. Clarence is survived by his wife Mary Carolyn Lanier Wood; children: Kathy & (Malcolm) Quehl of Bethlehem GA; Grandchildren: Ethan Quehl, Reese & (Hannah) Quehl, and Jeffery Wood. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son James Douglas Wood, his sister: Elvie Jean Baughcum. Graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Sunrise Memorial Garden. 11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy. Douglasville, GA 30134 with Reverend Terry Marbut officiating.
