Barbara Eddings Titusville, Florida Obituary

Barbara Eddings

<p>In the early morning hours of September 8, 2021, in Titusville, Florida, Barbara Ann Eddings went home to be with the Lord.&nbsp; She suffered from a terrible battle with cancer, but she kept putting her best foot forward as she met this battle head on with steady faith in the loving God she served and with steadfast, daily support from her precious daughters Melanie Eddings and Lisa McCotter.&nbsp; As her time neared, she was surrounded by loving family and friends, and while we all will continue to miss her, we are also glad that her painful battle is over, and now she is with her loving and late husband Gerald Eddings as they rest in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.&nbsp;</p> <p>Born in Columbus, Georgia on December 29, 1934, Barbara was well into her 86th year on earth, and in this time, she served the Lord faithfully.&nbsp; She was a great daughter to her parents Byrd &amp; Bessie Skipper, a wonderful wife to her husband Gerald, and a loving mother to her children Melanie (Titusville), Lisa (Titusville), and John Eddings (Lake Worth, Florida).&nbsp; She is survived by all three of her children, seven grandchildren, and six greatgrandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters Byrdie Skipper and Leila Cantrell (Columbus, Georgia).</p> <p>Barbara Eddings was the perfect picture of a Southern Lady.&nbsp; She was beautiful, and her service to the Lord was a great example to family and friends.&nbsp; She served in women&rsquo;s ministry helping other women throughout the state, she was a strong prayer intercessor, she gave to the poor, and she opened her home to many.&nbsp;</p>
