Lisa Gay Dean Obituary

On Monday, August 9, 2021, Lisa (Gnadt) Dean died in Littleton, CO at the age of 59. Lisa was born in Denver on August 2, 1962 to Bill and Carolyn (Cook) Gnadt and grew up in Indian Hills. Lisa married Philip Dean on June 23, 1990 and they raised one daughter, Caley. In 1998, after having lived in various locations, Lisa and Philip moved back into her childhood home where she then spent the next 22 years. For over 25 years the AA organization was a very important part of Lisa’s life. During that time Lisa sponsored many people and helped change the lives of countless individuals. She was a sought- after speaker and traveled to meetings in various locations to offer her guidance and support to both friends and strangers alike. Lisa was extremely creative and had a strong artistic flair. She was successful at each endeavor she attempted, often because of her bright, bold, and magnetic personality. Well-liked by everyone she met and deeply loved by those who had the opportunity to get to know her, Lisa was at her best when she could make someone smile or help through difficult times. Her spirit will continue to live on in many hearts. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by daughter Caley of Longmont, granddaughter Chloe of Parker; siblings Brenda (Doug Bulen) Lear of Castle Rock, Marta Traver of Aurora, Janet (Ralph) Babish of Hayden, and Jay (Angie) Gnadt of Conifer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
