Watson, Bruce Thomas October 17, 1933 - September 8, 2021 Bruce passed away peacefully at Grand River Hospital in his 88th year on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, with his family by his side. He will be sadly missed by his wife Susan of 31 years. He was father to Sherri (Len), Lori (Mike) and step-father to Bryon (Kim) and Jennifer (Todd). He was grandfather to Amber (Robb), Mark (Julia), Tyler (Lisa), Erika (Konstantin), Chase and Syd, and great-grandfather to Zayne, Bryce and a second great-granddaughter expected in January. Bruce will also be missed by many good friends, including his long time best friend, Bruce Zehr. Bruce was a loyal, hard worker and enjoyed a career with the Glidden Paint Company for close to 40 years. In addition, he was a long-time Director, executive member, and served as President of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club for two seasons (1976-1978), and he remained their #1 fan, rarely missing a game. Bruce’s family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener. Memorial Service in the chapel on Sunday, September 12, 2021, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends wishing to attend Bruce’s services must RSVP through the funeral home website or by calling 519-749-8467.
