<p>Dean &ldquo;Deano&rdquo; Ramsdell, 60, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home in Saco.</p> <p>He was born on August 14, 1961, to Carleton and Donna (Zinck) Ramsdell in Lewiston.</p> <p>Dean attended Great Bay School in Newington and Camp Waban. Early in his life he enjoyed participating in the Maine Special Olympics. He was a child at heart and enjoyed many things such as western television programs, sports, Marvel comics, and collecting a variety of memorabilia. Dean has made many friends throughout his life including those at his assisted living homes.</p> <p>He is proceeded in death by his mother and stepfather, Donna and Gilbert Zinck, and his sister Darlene Ramsdell.</p> <p>Survivors include his father Carleton Ramsdell and his wife Dorothy of Auburn, his brother Scott Ramsdell and his wife Misty, and his sister Liza Safford and her husband Randy all of Lebanon, along with many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces, nephews.</p> <p>The family would like to thank Spurwink Services and their staff for all of the love and care given to Dean.</p> <p>A celebration of life will be held at a later date.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Maine Special Olympics at https://support.specialolympics.org/.</p> <p>Arrangements are under the direction of Black Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Sanford-Springvale.</p> <p>To leave a message of condolence click on Dean&rsquo;s Tribute page.</p>

Dean “Deano” Ramsdell, 60, passed away on Monday, September 6, 2021, at his home in Saco.

He was born on August 14, 1961, to Carleton and Donna (Zinck) Ramsdell in Lewiston.

Dean attended Great Bay School in Newington and Camp Waban. Early in his life he enjoyed participating in the Maine Special Olympics.
