<p>Jo Ellen Carruth, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Mrs. Carruth was born on August 30, 1934 in Dallas, GA. She worked as the Director of New Beginnings Early Childhood Education Center for more than 20 years. Jo Ellen was a member of The Narroway Baptist Church. She will be remembered by all that loved her as vibrant, energetic and independent. Mrs. Carruth enjoyed traveling, gardening, and cooking for others. Everyone who ever met her felt as though they were her favorite person. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Carruth; parents, Eunice and Selma Corley; siblings, Rachel Schuletti, Ann Tibbitts, Helen Tulin, and Thomas Corley.</p> <p>Mrs. Carruth is survived by her daughter, Candy (Johnny) Aiken; son, Tim (Brigette) Carruth; sister, Artie Sue Kemp; brothers, Paul Corley, Pledger Corley, and Jimmy Corley; grandchildren, Chase (Brianna) Carruth, Cameron Carruth, Kristin Aiken Collins, Alisha Aiken (Matt) Collins; great-grandchildren, Fisher Collins, Sawyer Collins, Hutch Collins, and Shepherd Collins, and Parker Carruth.</p> <p>Graveside services for Mrs. Jo Ellen Carruth will be held at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 3:00 PM with Todd Tibbitts officiating. Pallbearers will be Chase Carruth, Cameron Carruth, Fisher Collins, Sawyer Collins, Hutch Collins, Shepard Collins, and Matt Collins. The service will be livestreamed on Clark Funeral Home&rsquo;s Facebook page. &nbsp;</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund. &nbsp;</p> <p>Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA is honored to care for the family during this difficult time.</p> <p>Condolences may be left for the family on our website, www.samclarkfuneralhome.com on the tribute wall.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
