Mrs. Sue Ann Delgaizo, 67, of Mt. Arlington, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Septermber 7, 2021 after a lengthy illness which rarely slowed her down. She was born on March 21, 1954, in Somerset and grew up in Long Valley. Sue lived with her loving husband, John Michael Delgaizo in Mt. Arlington for 38 years where they raised their son Michael Edward Delgaizo. Sue had a way with people and was perfectly suited in a career as a clerk and Starbucks barista manager at the Stop & Shop in Morris Plains until her retirement. Sue was an avid gardener who adored her perennials as she loved to see them rebloom year after year as well as cultivating her own vegetables to add a home grown taste to the food. Her true passion in life was her family; continuously dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, John; her loving son Michael and his wife Sheena; and her cherished granddaughter, Danica Athena. She is also survived by her brothers, Bert Swackhamer III and Guy Swackhamer and sister Linda Coates, as well as many other loving family and friends. Sue's Life Celebration will include visitation on Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2pm-5pm at the William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930. A funeral service will be held at 5pm at the Funeral Home following the visitation. Interment will be held privately by Sue's Family.
