Darriel Loren Anderson, age 58, of Calhoun, GA passed away on August 31, 2021 at home. Mr. Anderson was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on March 16, 1963. He was the son of Doris Brewton Anderson and the late Darriel Clark Anderson. Darriel will be greatly missed as he was a loving son, brother, husband, daddy, papa and friend to many. He was a super mechanic and trouble shooter. He enjoyed fixing things that were broken and if he wasn’t sure how he would research and try his best to figure it out. He was always up for the challenge, no matter how big or small. Darriel is survived by his wife, Deborah Grilliot Anderson; daughters, Daisy Anderson Mulkey and Dawn Anderson; granddaughter, Lydia Anderson; son-in-law, Shaun Mulkey; sister & brother-in-law, Deborah & Grady Harrell; brothers & sisters-in-law, David & Pam Anderson, Daniel & Jennifer Anderson; sister-in-law, Rita Grilliot Hudson; brother-in-laws, Johnny Paul Grilliot and Freddie Joe Grilliot; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Johnnie & Brandy Hannah and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held for Darriel on September 11, 2021 at 2:00 PM at True North Church, 225 West Line Street, Calhoun, GA 30701. His wishes were for no one to dress up! The family would like to give a special thanks to True North Church family and to all of Pruitt Hospice Care. There are two nurses that will always hold a spot in our hearts that went above and beyond for Darriel, Courtney Condon of Erlanger East and Angie West of hospice.
