Denise Catherine Power
It is with great sadness that the family of Denise Catherine Power announce her passing on September 5, 2021 at the Central NL Regional Health Center, at the age of 60. Denise was born on March 15, 1961 to Margaret & Patrick Power in Bishop’s Falls. Predeceased by her Parents Patrick & Margaret Power, sister Christeen (Teen) Lingard, brothers Patrick and Robert Power. Denise, the youngest of 12 will always be loved and remembered by her sisters Imelda McDonald, Barbara Finn, Maureen Roberts, Irene Hultin (Ed), Yvonne Bellworthy (Peter), Marg Barry. Her brothers Jerome (Mary) and Ron (Marg), 29 nieces & nephews and a very large selection of friends. Very special friends Emeline and Freeman Rideout, Louise and Fred Rose who gave Denise the best of care over the years. You were so good to her. Thank-you ever so much. Denise was born with Down syndrome but lived a full life full of love, happiness and fun. One of her own sayings best described how she felt about her life, “We got er made Freem!” She was well known and loved in her community and always had a smile for everyone and brought humor and joy to everyone she met. She was very social and loved to participate in everything she could including attending school in her younger years, community events, parties and probably her favorite thing being her trips to Max Simms camp. Denise was true gem and she will be dearly missed! May you Rest In Peace sweet angel, we love you! Thank-you to the staff of Harbor Breton Hospital and the Central NL Regional Health Center for their care and kindness. Thank-you to Ryan Peddle of Central Funeral Homes.
