Logan M. Kuhn Cannon Falls, Minnesota Obituary

Logan M. Kuhn

Logan Matthew Kuhn, age 22, of Faribault, MN, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, while he was hunting in the mountains of west Texas.

Logan Matthew, the son of Angela Kuhn and Matthew Fries, was born on March 20, 1999 in Northfield, MN. He grew up in the Cannon Falls area with his grandparents and his mom. He spent much of his childhood by his Grandpa Tim’s side, and bonded with him like a best friend. He loved to ride dirt bikes in his youth, and as he grew into his teen years he spent a lot of his time practicing Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu at the Dynamic Evolution gym. Logan always loved hunting, fishing, hiking, boating; basically anything involving the outdoors. Although Logan loved all of his hobbies, the one thing he loved most of all was his family. He was in love with his high school sweetheart, Madison. They shared over 5 years together, and brought a beautiful baby boy into this world on November 22, 2018. Logan was great at many things, but above all, he was an incredible father and a loving, supportive partner.

Logan was also a very smart man. He accomplished so much in such a short amount of time with his school and work. He graduated from Northfield High School in 2017, and went on to embark on his college career. Logan ultimately graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice from Southern New Hampshire University, and he had plans to become a Law Enforcement Officer. He was currently employed as the Service Manager for Camping World of Owatonna, where he took pride in showing up to help lead the employees and the company in the right direction.

He is survived by his son, Derrick Kuhn; by his significant other, Madison Bauer; by his parents, Angela Kuhn and Matthew (Kassandra) Fries; by his siblings, Giovanni, Reinhart, Aviana, and Sylvan; by his grandparents, Kathy and Tim Kuhn, and Wayne and Carol Fries; by his great grandmothers, Shirley Kuhn and Nadine Anderson; by uncles, aunts, and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Jim Kuhn and Duane Anderson.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday September 10, 2021 at Spring Garden Lutheran Church, 10239 Co. 1 Blvd, Cannon Falls, MN 55009. There will be a visitation, also at the church, from 12:00 - 2:00 pm on Friday. Weather permitting, Logan's service will be held in the shelter outside the church. Please bring a chair with you if you are able to. Also, the service will be livestreamed here and you may see it Friday at 11 am by clicking on the link below.
