Dianne Threatt

Belmont, NC Dianne Mills Threatt, 72, went to be with her Savior September 2, 2021. She was born June 30, 1949 in Gaston County, a daughter of the late Beecher Mills and Sophia Tallent Measimer. Dianne was an active member of Life Church in Cramerton, a trusted caregiver and loyal friend to many. She was an avid fan of the Charlotte Hornets and Carolina Panthers, retiring from cosmetology after many years of faithful service. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of 36 years D. Andrew Threatt, Jr.; son Scott Threatt, daughter-in-law Christi and grandson Hayden of Belmont; ; sisters Zona M. Leatherman of Belmont, Angela D. Measimer of Long Island, NY and several nieces and nephews. A service celebrating Dianne's life will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, Sept. 8 at McLean Funeral Directors Founders Chapel, 700 S. New Hope Rd., Gastonia with Revs. Chris Kennedy and Lamar Boulware officiating. The family will receive friends from 12 - 1:45 pm, prior to the service.
