Wayne Alan Burg, age 63 of Shakopee passed away on September 1, 2021 at his resident. Wayne was born on September 17, 1957 in Minneapolis to Donald and Jeanne (Balder) Burg. Wayne was a man of many talents and had great knowledge in many areas. He was a perfectionist that like to build things out of wood. A carpenter by trade, he enjoyed the cabinet and finish carpentry the most. Wayne loved classic cars and had a knack of making repairs on his own. The love of cars also included many collections of Hot Wheel and Muscle Machines. He would not quit until he had every car in each year of the series. Wayne suffered many health setbacks over the past 10 years which limited his ability to do many of the things he liked to do. He always kept going and found new areas of interests to enjoy. Wayne is survived by brothers, Todd (Tammy Bohning) of Glencoe and Glenn Burg of Cologne; nephew, Jared Burg; and many other friends and relatives. Wayne is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Jeanne Burg; grandparents, Frank and Frances Burg, Frank and Vera Balder; and his aunt and uncle, Judd and Jayne Parrish. Visitation Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:30-11:30 AM followed by a Memorial Service at 11:30 AM at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. E., Shakopee. Officiating is Reverend Alan Naumann. Interment Pleasant View Memorial Garden, Burnsville.
