Joseph F. Reppucci

Joseph F. Reppucci, 85, , died Sunday, June 15, 2003 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA. Joe was born and educated in Chelsea and after completing high school he became a truck driver. When W.W II broke out he enlisted in the U.S. Army serving with the 479th Amphibian Track Co. serving in Normandy, Northern France, Germany and Central Europe. Upon his discharge he returned to Chelsea and his wife and they resided in Chelsea with their family until moving to Malden in 1951 where he has resided for the past fifty- three years. He was a truck driver for Tose Trucking Co of PA in the Boston area and other firms for over forty-two years until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of Sacred Hearts Parish in Malden, a devoted member of Teamsters Local # 25 of Charlestown and more importantly a devoted family man to his wife and children.

He is survived by his sons; Michael J. Reppucci of Lowell, Joseph F. Reppucci Jr. of Revere, Francis G. Reppucci of Malden, his daughter, Judith A. Cahill of Malden, his sisters, Elena Roselli of Randolph, and Olympia Alberczenski of Winthrop and is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. .

He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys M. (Panczyk) Reppucci, his sister Rose Testa, his brother Orlando Reppucci, his brother Fiore Reppucci, and his brother Michael Reppucci.

He was born March 19, 1918 in Chelsea, MA the son of the late Giuseppe and Clementina (Celata) Reppucci of Italy.

Visitation will be held at Weir MacCuish Funeral Home, 144 Salem St. Malden on Tuesday 17th from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden with. Fr. Daniel J. Hickey of Sacred Hearts Church officiating. Burial will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
