Gretchen Elsie Bicknese, age 88, was born on July 26, 1933, the daughter of Leo and Elsie (Kaatz) Racine. She married Gene Bicknese on October 17, 1954. They farmed north of Worthington. Gretchen passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at her residence in Worthington, MN. Gretchen is survived by her husband, Gene of Worthington, MN; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brother-in-law, Byron (Alice) Bicknese, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sons, Gena Bicknese and Leo Bicknese; father, Leo Racine; mother, Elsie Racine; brother, Marshall Racine; brother and sister-in-law, Leland and Patsy Huskinvold, and sister-in-law, Jeannie Racine. No services will be held at this time. Benson Funeral Home in Worthington is in charge of the arrangements.
