Jerry Lee, 49, passed away August 31, 2021. He was a 1990 graduate of Greene County High School. He was a proud member of the Mississippi State Gamebird Association. He worked hard as a welder in the maintenance department for Days & Zimmerman at Chevron Refinery. He used his connections with Mississippi Power to work with the Community Connections Group and assist students in Jackson and George counties. His greatest joy was his family, especially his children and grandchildren.         

He is preceded in death by his father, David Carvel Lee; brothers, Preston Lee and Terry Wayne Lee. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Daphne Williams Lee; children, Katelin Lee, Lauree Lee, Jerry Dawson Lee and Rene' Michelle Gouyon Lee; grandchildren, Zayden, Xzavier, Neekoh and Tobias; mother, Shirley Ann Donnice Marie Gray Lee; siblings, Diana Stocking, David “June June” Lee, Jr., Randall Lee, Mylanta Roberts and Ronald “Bubba” Lee; beloved friend, Butch Rouse; numerous other relatives and friends.                 

The Visitation for Jerry Lee will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Moments Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will follow beginning at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery in Deer Park, Alabama.
