Michael Lee Roberson, Sr., 56, of Beaumont, Texas died on Saturday, August 21, 2021. A Celebration of his Life will take place 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Second Evergreen Baptist Church, 2314 Wise Street, Alexandria, LA 71301. Public Viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. and continue until the start of service at 11:00 a.m. Michael will be taken to Garden of Memories Cemetery for Final Committal Rites immediately following the service. His Life Story Michael Lee Roberson Sr. was born March 6, 1965 in Pineville, Louisiana to the late Rosa Lee Foster and Edward Coffee Hunter. He was baptized at 8 years old in his hometown of Pineville. He was again baptized by Pastor John Haggar the Third at Victory to Victory church. Michael cooked food for the homeless and held fellowship over the years with Victory to Victory. Michael and his wife worked in outreach helping people for many years. He was a saved and god fearing man. He was very helpful to his mother and siblings. He was a well rounded and family dedicated man. At 18 years old Michael moved to Beaumont, Texas where he lived for several years. He met his wife Debbie Fine Roberson where they were joined in marriage for 34 years. In his eyes Debbie was everything and he would often express his love for her. Michael was a loving, kindhearted person with a contagious smile and infectious laugh. He helped others through his day to day work. He loved working on cars and spending time with his family. He loved fishing with his grandchildren, cooking for the family and cars. His wife and children were his world and he loved to tell jokes, play the harmonica, and his guitars. He oftentimes would sing church hymns throughout the day, plenty of songs were original. Overall he was a kind, loving protector. His legacy will live on through his devoted wife, Debbie Fine Roberson; four daughters, Mahogany Johnson of Pineville, Louisiana, Megan and Ashley Fine of Beaumont Texas, and Monica Roberson of Houston Texas; his three sons, Michael Todd Roberson(Shawnterra), Michael Lee Roberson Jr. of Beaumont, Texas, and Joshua Fine(Danielle) of Houston, Texas; also 14 grandchildren, Cassidy Roberson, Brioni Roberson, Jamiya Hope, Jayceon Hope, Skylah Fine, Janelle Williams, Heaven Williams, Nevaeh Williams, Acario Dotson, Acaria Dotson, Dreyson Harris, Jaci Kaye’ Roberson, Zaden Lawrence, and Oreyon Roberson; he also entrusts his legacy to three sisters, Rose Foster, Mary Anne Winfield Goff (Bruce), and Peggy Lotts (Joe); his three brothers, John Roberson, Roy Foster, and Freddy Lawson; there is also an abundance of sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Rosa Lee Foster and Edward Coffee Hunter; one brother Ray James Foster and maternal grandparents.
