<p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Rudolph (Rudy) Strew, at almost 84, unexpectedly and peacefully passed into Eternity on&nbsp;June 29,&nbsp;2021.&nbsp; Beloved&nbsp;husband and best friend to Suzanne (Sue) Claflin Strew for 57 very special years.<br /> Born August 14, 1937 to Rudolph and Cecelia Strew of Mentor, Ohio,&nbsp;Rudy graduated from Mentor High School.&nbsp; After serving In the Army, he followed the guidance he received from Lee Tressel and continued his education graduating from Baldwin-Wallace College. He earned his Master Degree from Kent State University.&nbsp; Grateful thanks for the early guidance and continued friendship of Lee. &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br /> Rudy will be best remembered as a teacher,&nbsp;counselor and coach&nbsp;with a strong desire to help and encourage students in their educational journeys. He continued his mission with his work in Financial Aid and Admissions at Baldwin Wallace and as a Development Officer at Siena Heights University.<br /> Rudy will also be remembered for his extreme generosity, quietly supporting persons and organizations that needed his help.&nbsp; They in turn helped others&hellip;a journey that never stopped.<br /> To honor Rudy&rsquo;s wishes, there will be no formal service.<br /> Rudy&rsquo;s wishes would be&hellip;&hellip;&hellip;<br /> &ldquo;GIVE SOMEONE A HUG, SAY A PRAYER, CALL A FRIEND, SMILE AT A STRANGER AND MAKE YOUR DAY SPECIAL!&rdquo;</strong></span><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>&nbsp; </strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>SERVICES ENTRUSTED TO A. Obituary

Rudolph (Rudy) Strew, at almost 84, unexpectedly and peacefully passed into Eternity on June 29, 2021.  Beloved husband and best friend to Suzanne (Sue) Claflin Strew for 57 very special years.
Born August 14, 1937 to Rudolph and Cecelia Strew of Mentor, Ohio, Rudy graduated from Mentor High School.  After serving In the Army, he followed the guidance he received from Lee Tressel and continued his education graduating from Baldwin-Wallace College. He earned his Master Degree from Kent State University.  Grateful thanks for the early guidance and continued friendship of Lee.
