Concetta J. "Connie" Foley1925-2016 Concetta J. "Connie" Foley (Cagnina) beloved wife of the late Captain Martin E. Foley (Massachusetts State Police) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday afternoon at the age of 91. Born in Medway she was the daughter of the late Jerome & Filomena (Pascuzzi) Cagnina. The family moved to Woburn where she was educated in the Woburn school system. She later took employment at the Bonnell Ford in Winchester as a secretary. While working at the dealership she attended Burdette College graduating in 1947. On May 5 1951 Connie married the love of her life Martin E. Foley in St. Charles Church in Woburn. The couple settled in Malden and started a family. They were married for 61 years until Martin's passing in 2013. She was a communicant of Sacred Hearts Church Malden and was a member of the Sacred Hearts Women's Club. In her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts gardening in her yard dancing with her husband and cooking and caring for her growing family. Connie is survived by her children Patricia M. Marfione and her husband Ronald of Reading Barbara E. MacDonald and her husband Jerry of Marshfield Colleen D. Fullerton of Attleboro Kevin J. Foley and his wife Celeste of Tyngsboro her sister Jeanette Goodrich of Waltham her brother John Cagnina and his wife Helen of Woburn. She was the cherished grandmother of Keith Michael and Brian Marfione Jerome "Sonny" and Scott MacDonald Carly Horne and her husband Teddy Eric Evan Emily and Ethan Fullerton Samantha Zachary and Benjamin Foley. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Martin E. Foley their daughter Kathleen S. Foley Connie's brother Daniel Cagnina her sisters Eleanor Ryan and Rosemary Cagnina. Funeral services will be held from the Weir-MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home 144 Salem St. Malden. on Saturday Oct 1 2016 with visitation starting at 10:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Hearts Church Malden at 12:30PM. Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Mausoleum Malden. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Connie's memory to the Alzheimer's Association MA/NH Chapters 480 Pleasant St. Watertown MA 02472.
