It’s time to make sandwiches!’”

Violet enjoyed the outdoors and life on the farm. She liked watching the birds come to the bird feeder to eat, just outside her picture window.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. James and Violet were married October 22, 1947, and spent 67 years together.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband; James, infant daughter; Bonnie Lee, grand-daughter; Kenzie, son-in-law; Bernie, five sisters; Clara, Agnes, Gladys, Ethel and Eileen, and three brothers; Clarence, Lawrence and Morris.

Violet is lovingly remembered by her children; Brenda of Sturgis, Brian and Judy of Winnipeg, Danny and Marlene of Sturgis, Dale and Collene of Saskatoon, her nine grandchildren; Noel and Mathew of Regina, Jenelle of Sturgis, Drew of Australia, Karen of Winnipeg, Heather of Kelowna, Chad and Ronda of Sturgis, and Ashton of Saskatoon, and her sixteen greatgrandchildren; Luke, Jesse and Layne Lubiniecki, Connor and Ayden Borus, Sylas Daignault, Tristen, Jesse James, Jade and Ryder Beatty and Cole, Jake, Mattie, Jane and Max Palaniuk and Brooklyn Violet, and Camilla Lubiniecki as well as numerous nephews, nieces and friends. They all meant so much to her.

Arrangements entrusted to Preeceville Funeral Home.

Click here: https://app.mybabbo.com/share/c5863b7 to view the online tribute book in loving memory of Violet.

My sincere condolences to your family. Mrs. Palaniuk always had a smile and a kind word to say. Even though I have not lived in Sturgis since 1981, she always knew who I was and was interested in what I was up to.
