Loren Barry Robb
It is with very heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing or Loren due to a massive stroke. Loren is predeceased by his grand parents Elizabeth and James Dowswell, Ruby and David Robb, brothers James (Mucho) and Jerry Robb, his uncles Clarence and Donny Dowswell and father-in-law Ernie Kozak. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 42 years Sheri, his son Barry and daughter-in-law Amanda, with their children Arianna, Everett and Liam and his daughter Stephanie, along with his furry pals Zoe and Wicket. In addition to his and Sheri’s immediate family he had many cousins, nephews, close friends and his coffee buddies, all of who he cared for tremendously. Loren loved the races. Stock car races, sprint car races and Nascar races… he loved them all. Driving to watch Nascar races or “the greatest show on dirt” was one of his favourite things to do. In fact, driving anywhere to see a museum in the middle of no where, grab tacos in the afternoon, or to simply see the mouth of the Mississippi was what he loved. If it had an engine, he loved it. In his younger years “buy it, crash it, fix it” was a standard practice. As he got older snowmobiles became a passion with his family, and later turned to quads, where he attended many derbies with family and friends. The many memories we all have of Loren will live on and although he was a man of few words (sometimes choice words), under his hard shell he truly had a heart of gold and cherished the great times spent with his peeps. At Loren’s request cremation will take place and there will be no service or burial. Loren and Sheri will be together forever *heart*. The Robb Family wishes to thank first responders that service our community. Emerson Franklin is very fortunate to have the compassionate “neighbours” among us. Also, ALL of the staff at BTHC for the understanding and support, in addition to the excellent care that Lorne received.
