<p>Billy Carl Washington, Sr, 58, of Columbus, passed away on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Billy was born on January 2, 1963 in Bessemer, Alabama to Billy Carl Avery and Ethel Lois Washington. He worked as a physical trainer for a few years for gyms likes Gold&rsquo;s Gym in Zanesville, before working at AEP where he has been for almost 20 years. Billy loved muscle cars, music, karate and martial arts movies, reading, and his Oakland Raiders. More than anything he loved the time he had with his family, and his grandbabies. Billy always wanted you to know that if nobody loved you, he did. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son Tyler Von Clay Hardin. Billy is survived by son Billy Carl Washington, Jr; siblings Stephanie Anderson, Corlis Avery, Gregg (Colleen Upton) Avery, Christopher Sanders, Billy Carl Acoff Jr. Bobby D&#39;Andre Acoff and Yashica Clark; special friend Christine Smith; grandbabies Markia Hardin, Jamilla Washington, Lachelle Washington, and Arrius Williams; nieces and nephews Ashleigh Anderson, Dustin Edwards, Alicia Avery, Whitney Callan, Gregory Avery, Devonte Parks, Ashantae Avery, Nakaela Avery, Billy C. Acoff Jr, Deangelo Q. Witherspoon, Nadia S. Sales, and De&#39;carius M.Acoff; close friend Wanda Cox; special cat Buddy; many more extended family and friends. Billy&rsquo;s family will receive friends on Friday, September 10, from 5-7pm at Cotner Funeral Home, 7369 East Main Street, Reynoldsburg, where his service will follow at 7pm. Donations in Billy&rsquo;s memory may be made to Cotner Funeral Home by calling 614.866.6318, to help his family with final expenses. Monetary donations exceeding the funeral expenses will be donated to the non-profit Gospel Car and Motorcycle Show which he used to be involved with. The family would like to thank the Reunion Rehabilitation Hospital in&nbsp;Dublin, Ohio for their loving care.</p>
