Trevor W. Thomas, 80, a longtime resident of Fair Haven, peacefully passed away Tuesday, August 24th, at his home with his family by his side. Trevor was born in Maidstone, England on July 22, 1941, a son of the late Ellen and Reginald Thomas. He and his family emigrated to the United States in 1944 and Trevor grew up in the Bronx. After proudly serving in the US Army during the early 1960's and returning home, Trevor married Helen, the love of his life and they settled and raised their family in Fair Haven. Trevor was a senior editor at National Underwriters in Hoboken for many years. When he was not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his favorite baseball team, the NY Yankees, with his boys or quietly gazing at the cosmos and studying astronomy.
Trevor is survived by his devoted wife of 50 years, Helen Thomas and their two sons, Trevor and Steven. He also leaves behind three grandchildren; Tyler, Michelle and Caitlyn.
