<p>Joann G. Knapp, 87 born on February&nbsp;11, 1934 in Aurora, IA and passed away peacefully on August 26,2021 at Emmanuel Nursing Home. Joann spent her high school years in Spring Lake Park, MN and was a long time resident of Detroit Lakes, MN.&nbsp;&nbsp;She was known as a local artist,&nbsp;junior high art teacher, &amp; led water aerobics classes for Community Ed for over 40 years.&nbsp;</p> <p>Joann is survived by her children Leigh Ota, Pam Black, Sara Sneed, Chris Knapp and 7 grandchildren&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>No Services&nbsp;to be held.</p>
