"Bill" Anderson, age 88 of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Forest Baptist Church in Forest, Louisiana. Reverends David Sistrunk and Colin Trisler will officiate. Interment will follow in the Forest Corner Cemetery near Forest, Louisiana. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana. A time of visitation will be held from 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Cox Funeral Home, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana. Mr. Anderson passed into eternal life on Monday, August 23, 2021 at West Carroll Memorial Hospital in Oak Grove, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas Anderson and Hazel Irene (Tiffee) Anderson. Bill is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margie Dan (Peacock) Anderson of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Pam Thompson of Sterlington, Louisiana; son, Bozo Anderson of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Anita "Boosie" Anderson of DeVille, Louisiana; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. Pallbearers are: Chase Anderson, Chase Linzay, Andy Chappell, Tyler Burdeaux, Ricky McMullen, Casey Coley, Justin Rawls, Tony Simpson, and Tyler Anderson.
