Kaitlyn Mendoza, loving daughter and sister, passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2021. She was 17 years old. Kaitlyn was born on February 11, 2004, in Forest Hills, New York. From the moment she was born, her inner joy seemed to shine. She will always be remembered for her kind and generous demeanor. Kaitlyn attended Archbishop Molloy High School. She was a talented and dedicated tennis player. She loved spending time with her family, reading and later discovered her artistic abilities. Kaitlyn is survived by her parents, Elizabeth and Orlando, and her younger brother, Matthew. A foundation will be set up in Kaitlyn's name to help offset the costs of playing tennis and make the sport more accessible to children. Anyone who wishes to donate please email lizhunterny@yahoo.com.
