Charlie Camp Obituary

Charles “Charlie” William Camp Sr., aged 64, departed to go see our heavenly father on August 22, 2021. Charlie was born May 19, 1957 to Richard Camp Sr. and Patricia Camp. Charlie was an active, lifelong member of the Duncanville community. Charlie met his loving wife, Connie, in 1976 and they have been married for 43 years as of this August. Charlie was a very caring, loving, friendly family man who was the best husband, dad, son, brother, uncle and pawpaw that any of us could have ever wished for. Charlie Camp simply never met a stranger; he knew and would talk to everyone! He was a skilled electrician, carpenter, and overall jack-of-all-trades. Later in life, he spent a lot of his time either helping his parents, working at the family business or caring for his grandkids. When he was not helping others, he loved to take his kids and grandkids on fishing trips. He later proudly became involved in the Masonic organization with his brother Don. He is survived by his parents, Richard Camp Sr. and Patricia Camp; wife, Connie Camp; son, Charles Camp Jr. and his wife, Samantha; daughter, Cheri Camp and her husband, Jerrod; brother, Don Camp and his wife, Brenda; sister, Kathy Tyroch and her husband, Marc Tyroch Sr.; and grandchildren, Rylee, Alyssa, Katie, William, and Camden. The family will have visitation Wednesday, August 25th between 7:00pm-9:00pm at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 26th at Jaynes Memorial Chapel in Duncanville at 10:30am. Interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas. The family appreciates the outpouring of love and support we have received for Charlie.
