Gail Gordon, 64, of Middletown, peacefully passed away Thursday, August 19th surrounded by her loving family. Gail was born and raised in Kearny, NJ , a daughter of the late Irene and James Gordon. She moved to the Middletown area as a young woman and called Monmouth County her home. She worked in purchasing for many years at Fort Monmouth and moved onto banking at 1st Constitution Bank in Asbury Park & Shrewsbury.
Gail was the social butterfly that everyone loved to be around, full of smiles and that contagious laugh that echoed a room. She loved to entertain and always hosted parties….pool parties were always a favorite! Her love for tending to her flowers and maintaining her yard was something she took pleasure & pride in. Gail loved animals and adopted many pets over the years, which she considered her “Fur babies.” She loved to be surrounded by her family and friends and had an especially close bond with her nieces and nephew, they were the Joy of her life! Her heart lit up when our family was blessed with sweet Raya and she beamed with love, even in her last days. She will always be fondly remembered as a loving, kind, nurturing and selfless person, who loved unconditionally & without measure. She is a GEM and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Gail is survived by her loving brother, Garry Gordon, of Atlantic Highlands and her beloved nephew and nieces; Justin Gordon of Aspen, Co., Adria Gordon of Red Bank and Rachel Gordon of Denver, Co.
A Memorial Gathering will take place Saturday, September 4th from 9-11 am at Scott & Kedz Home for Funerals.
