Cecilia - A Funeral Service will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Cecilia for Yvonne Ann McFaul, 68, who passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at St. Martin Hospital.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday.
A rosary will be prayed at 9:30 am on Tuesday.
Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. The reader will be Kim Eddy.
Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Yvonne was employed at Guidry's Catfish Processing for 20-plus years. As a pastime, she enjoyed reading, watching movies and cooking shows, computer games, and shopping on QVC for Christmas gifts for her granddaughters. She loved when her son, Nicholas and his family came in for a visit. Yvonne will be remembered for the unconditional love she had for her family, especially her granddaughters, and her generosity towards others.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, David Paul McFaul; mother, Vivian M. Guidry; son, Nicholas McFaul (Carolina); two grandchildren, Jasalynn McFaul and Abbigail McFaul; brother, Gerald J. Guidry (Juanita); sister, Sandra Schexnayder (Sam); four brothers-in-law, Jimmy McFaul (Andrea), Michael McFaul (Michelle), Stephen McFaul (Sharon), and Robert McFaul (Angela); and two sisters-in-law, Karen McFaul and Laura Mier (A.J).
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence "Coon" Guidry; and her brother, Gary J Guidry.
Pallbearers will be Nicholas McFaul, Gerald J. Guidry, A.J. Mier, Shawn Eddy, Steven Willingham, and Sam Schexnayder.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy McFaul, Michael McFaul, Stephen McFaul, Robert McFaul, Butch LeBlanc, Tony Boudreaux, and Steve Collins.
