<p><br /> Kent Teeples<br /> Richfield, Utah</p> <p>Kent L. Teeples, 71, of Richfield, Utah, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Utah Valley Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family.&nbsp; He was born February 27, 1950, a son to Floyd and Pat Teeples of Delta, Utah. Kent grew up with five siblings on a farm in the South Tract area southeast of Delta.</p> <p>Kent spent many years as a helicopter and fixed-wing plane pilot while serving in the U.S. Army. Among other places, he served and lived in Panama and Germany. While in Germany Kent developed his love for skiing and was part of a German ski club.&nbsp;</p> <p>After retiring from the Army, Kent lived in South Carolina then later, Delta, Utah while raising his children, Pammie and Kenny.&nbsp;</p> <p>Kent married his wife Claudia in 1993 and moved to Richfield, Utah where he worked as a realtor for Century 21 for many years while also taking on the role of step-dad to Claudia&rsquo;s 10 children.&nbsp;</p> <p>Kent and Claudia loved to travel and after many years, accomplished their goal of visiting every continent on earth, including Antarctica!&nbsp;</p> <p>Kent was known for his devotion to his family. He prided himself on attending as many of his children&rsquo;s and grandchildren&rsquo;s sporting events, concerts, plays, dance recitals and graduations as he could.&nbsp;</p> <p>Kent will be missed by many. Survived by his wife, Claudia Hintze Teeples, Richfield; children and step-children: Pammie (L.C.) Rish, South Carolina; Kenny (Penny) Teeples, Delta; Ben (Cait) Hyde, Provo; Amy (Dusty) Callister, Cedar City; Mindy (Kyle) Case, Santa Clara; Matthew (Jessica) Hyde, Ivins; Sarah (Scott) Reinwand, California; Jill (Mike) Bearden, Santa Clara; Julie (Jason) Perry, Newton; Stephen (McKenzie) Hyde, Cedar City; Michael Hyde, Santa Clara; Emily (Abraham) Ivie, Santa Clara; 38 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; siblings: Scott (Bonnie) Teeples, Marilyn (Jerry) Jenkins, Neal (Tara) Teeples and Alan (Tanya) Teeples. Preceded in death by parents, Patricia Nadeen Black Teeples and Floyd LeClede Teeples.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held on Thursday August 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 9th Ward Chapel.&nbsp; Friends may call Wednesday evening at Magleby Mortuary from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. or Thursday morning at the ward chapel from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. in the Delta City Cemetery with military honors. Kent L. Teeples, 71, of Richfield, Utah, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Utah Valley Hospital surrounded by his devoted wife and loving family.  He was born February 27, 1950, a son to Floyd and Pat Teeples of Delta, Utah. Kent grew up with five siblings on a farm in the South Tract area southeast of Delta.
