Robert L. Arrington
<p>Robert L. Arrington, 73, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, Aug. 20, 2021. Robert was born Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1947 in Cherverly, MD, to the late Howard and Hattie (Shipman) Arrington. He loved spending time with his family and being a grandfather. He was a proud US Army Combat Veteran serving in the Vietnam War and was an avid Washington Redskins fan and golfer. </p> <p>In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his grandson, Michael Scott Dean, II and 4 siblings. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Christina; daughters, Dianna (Michael) Dean, and Nicole (Eric) Mann; grandchildren, Courtney, Alicia, and Natalie Dean, and Ryan, Melina, David, AJ, and Jackson Mann. </p> <p>Graveside Service will be Friday, 11:00 am at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH with Pastor Larry Baldridge, Celebrant. Visitation will be Thursday, August 26, 2021, 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Bacher-Moore Funeral Home (Portage Lakes), 3326 Manchester Rd., Akron. </p> <p>In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Disabled Veterans of America at DAV.org.</p> <p>Robert's family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Summa Akron City Hospital, ICU, T3 for all their compassionate care.</p> <p> </p>October 29, 1947 - August 20, 202110/29/194708/20/2021
