Albert Lee Troxell Obituary

Albert Lee Troxell passed away on June 16, 2017 in Enumclaw, WA. Born March 31, 1945 in Yakima, WA. Albert was preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Ethel Troxell, eight siblings and his beloved friend, Mary Morgan. Albert is survived by friends too numerous to count, and the entire Enumclaw community. Albert spent much of his childhood at Lakeland Village and Rainier School. Later recognized as an inappropriate placement, Mary Morgan, an employee at Rainier School applied for guardianship. They spent many happy years together, traveling often to Hawaii, Las Vegas, California and other places. Albert had his picture taken with Don Ho and Liberace. Albert was known as the "Lawnmower Man." Early Spring to late Fall, dawn to dusk, he was seen pushing his lawnmower all over town. Albert enjoyed visiting everyone: QFC, library, City Hall, WRCU, Plateau Outreach Ministries, Youth Center, St. Elizabeth, volunteering at the Senior Center, being a part of the Men's Breakfast at Sacred Heart, Full Bellies and Simply Soup. Enumclaw was his family. Albert enjoyed riding his bicycle (no helmet, down the middle of the road), his massive DVD collection, dinner out with friends at Old Country Buffet, CHRISTMAS, the Puyallup Fair, playing pool and anything and everything to do with John Wayne. Albert never missed an EHS Hornets home football or basketball game. Many people say that Albert was "lucky" to have lived in Enumclaw, but maybe it was the other way around - Enumclaw was lucky to have Albert. Visitation will be at Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 28th, 4:00 pm-8:00 pm; Rosary at 7:00 pm; funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Thursday, June 29th at 10:00 am; graveside ceremony will take place at Enumclaw Cemetery at 11:30 am; with a toast to follow at El Ranchito 2 Restaurant in Enumclaw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Enumclaw Senior Center, Plateau Outreach Ministries or to Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Funeral Home: Weeks' Enumclaw Funeral Home 1810 Wells Street Enumclaw, WA US 98022
