Clifford "Kip" Crossman

WINSTED – CROSSMAN – Clifford "Kip" Crossman, passed away on February 21, 2015. He was the devoted husband of the late Judith (Chipman) Crossman. Born February 13, 1943 in Winsted; the son of the late Harold and Catherine (Case) Crossman. Kip was a life long resident of Winsted and worked as a Tool & Die Maker. Not only was he a great dad and great grandfather, he was also a best friend to his children. He always involved them in all his hunting and fishing travels and his passion has been passed down to them. He taught his family to work hard and always wanted them to follow their dreams. He will be greatly missed by his three children, five grandkids and many, many friends. He leaves his children, Tammy "Sheenie" Kincannon and husband Kevin of GA, Rodney "Moon" Crossman of FL and Jason "Whoopie" Crossman of NC; grandchildren, Ian, Beckett, Taryn, Gareth and Daniel; brothers, John Crossman of FL and Donald "Grump" Crossman of Winsted; sister, Sally "Pinky" Mangione of Winsted; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Davy Crossman. There will be no calling hours. Montano-Shea Funeral Home, 922 Main Street, Winsted has care of the arrangements.
