Angela Dawn King Tucker, Georgia Obituary

Angela Dawn King

Angela Dawn King was born June 24, 1967 in Atlanta, Georgia. She passed away suddenly in Stone Mountain, Georgia on August 8, 2021 after an injury. A witty, statuesque, and beautiful blonde, Angela was ironically nicknamed “Grubby” because of her chubbiness as a baby. She attended Berkmar High School in Gwinnett County, and graduated in 1985. Angela attended classes at West Georgia College in Carrollton and later went on to work for Aon Corporation. Angela loved unconditionally, showing great compassion toward everyone and everything she ever met, never expecting anything in return. She was a creative spirit and a painter whose works adorned her family’s home. Angela devoted herself to the care of her mother, and she loved her family, nature, and animals. Angela was preceded in death by her father, William King. She is survived by her mother Donna King, her sister Lisa King, her brother-in-law Bernard Nickels, her nephew Drew Nickels, and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family in addition to a diverse network of friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday August 12th, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bill Head Funeral Home Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. A memorial service will be held following the visitation at 3:00 PM. The family asks that those in attendance please wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines. Angela was a deeply caring individual with a bright and kind spirit. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to PAWS Atlanta or your local animal charity.
