Matthew David Correll, 53, of Three Oaks, Michigan, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Niles Spectrum Health Hospital. He was born March 20, 1968, in South Bend, to Karles L. and Joan (Renbarger) Correll. In Matthews younger years he belonged to the Royal Rangers Christian Boy Scouts group. Matthew was a La Porte High School graduate of 1986 and a member of the swim team. His true passion was racing, he loved all kinds of racing, especially boats, cars, and trucks. Matthew enjoyed playing video games and watching WWE Wrestling in his free time. He was a born-again Christian and was a donor to Gift of Life to help other people. Surviving are his mother, Joan Ewing; siblings, Jeffery (Sherrie) Ewing of Crystal River, FL, Miranda (Austin) Clark of North Liberty, and Kody Correll of North Liberty; close cousin, Preston (Rose) McNeal of Knox, IN; and best friend, John Adamson of New Troy, MI. Preceding in death were his father and his grandparents. Cremation will take place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W.
