Mitsuko Ellis, age 71, of Cohutta, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 12, 1949 in Kawasaki, Japan. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her loving husband of forty-nine years Michael Ellis; daughters, Jackie Ellis of Dalton, Miki Ellis of Cohutta, grandchildren; Saiyuri, Kaeda, Alan Recinos; special friend, Monica Minter. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 in the Pleasant Grove Chapel of Julian Peeples Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Center Valley Cemetery in Chatsworth.
