Fred S. Gordon, 59, of Centre Twp., passed away Saturday, July 31, 2021 in Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, Bern Twp. He was the fiance of Kareen Jo Intribus. Born in Reading, he was the son of Marian E. (Davis) Gordon, Centre Twp., and the late Robert L. Gordon. He graduated from Schuylkill Valley High School in 1980. He was a US Army Veteran. Fred had been employed for Clover Farms for 20+ years, before becoming a self employed farmer. He enjoyed farming, hunting, fishing, and hiking. He was an avid outdoorsman. He was a member of the NRA, enjoyed throwing darts, and was a hard worker. Fred had a very good heart and would help anyone with anything they needed. He also had a softer side, enjoying arranging flowers, and even crocheting. Surviving in addition to his fiance and mother is a brother: Dan R., husband of Donna M. (Werner) Gordon, Mohrsville; a sister: Linda A. (Gordon), wife of Tino F. Imbesi, Mohrsville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother: Wayne S. Gordon, husband of Susan K. (Kline) Gordon, Centre Twp. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 5, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street Leesport.
