JONES COUNTY: Laura McAdams, 89, of Confederate Drive, died Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at her residence. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Gray Memorial Chapel in Gray. Mrs. McAdams was born November 2, 1931, in Gordon and had lived in Jones County for the past fifteen years. She was the daughter of the late Lewis Bernard McAdams and Laura Blanche Minter McAdams. Mrs. McAdams was a homemaker and loved her God, her bible and her family. She was preceded in death by a son: Forrest Adam Wood. Mrs. McAdams is survived by her children: Troy Gibbs and Joy Gibbs; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren and by three sisters.
