James "Jimmy" Sanzone

With deepest sorrow, we announce that James “Jimmy” Sanzone, 27, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away suddenly on July 25, 2021.

Jimmy was born on January 3, 1994, to James P. At the age of 10, he moved with his family to Weston, Connecticut, where he first attended Weston Middle School. He was proud to be a captain on the Varsity baseball team in high school. He graduated from Weston High School in 2012.

From there, Jimmy attended Ohio Wesleyan University and studied Sports Management. He was a proud member of Delta Tau Delta and was devoted to his fraternity brothers. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in 2016. He enjoyed working as an Account Executive for indeed.com in New York City, before later moving to Ohio.

Jimmy truly loved spending time with friends and family. He was a big fan of the New York Yankees, New York Jets and Brooklyn Nets. He had an amazing capacity to remember sports statistics! He was a thrill-seeker who rode every roller coaster he could, and even parachuted from an airplane. He had an immense passion for life and strived to live every day as if it were his last. His big heart made a positive impact on everyone he encountered. His family and friends will miss him more than words can say.

Jimmy is survived by his parents James and Doreen of Bluffton, SC; his sister Kaitlin (Ryan Inzana) of Irmo, SC and his brother Conner (Alexandra) of Mars, PA.
