<p>Awwal Ladipo of Minneapolis, Minnesota passed away on Jul 26, 2021. Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at Miller Funeral Home, 6210 Highway 65 NE, Fridley with Graveside Service at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, August 4th, 2021 at Champlin Cemetery, 812 Cartway Road, Champlin. </p> <p>The service will be livestreamed on this page.</p> <p>Early hours of Saturday, July 24th 2021, Our beloved Awwal Adebayo Ladipo, was brutally assaulted by a group of boys which led to his demise on Monday. July 26th, 2021. According to the Minnesota Medical examiner, he died due to blunt force head trauma sustained from the assault. </p> <p>This is an unimaginable loss to the Ladipo family and all who loved him. No parent should ever have to witness the loss of a child and have video evidence of how he was intentionally attacked.</p> <p>Awwal was a highly motivated high achiever! Graduated at the St. Cloud State University, majored in Liberal Arts of Science and attained a bachelor degree in Information Systems. He recently started a new IT role whilst helping to run the family business. He was a track and field athlete, basketball and soccer lover</p> <p>Awwal was kind and considerate young man, part of a close knit loving family. His parents Adebayo and Atinuke , wife Lisa,siblings, Tobi and Noah, aunty Bukky, several aunties, uncles, cousins ,nephews friends, colleagues are devastated by the loss of this respectful and well mannered youngman, who all his life was a role model to them. He encouraged his younger brother and sister to also participate in sporting passion like track and basketball. They are struggling to imagine life without their big brother Awwal!</p> <p>While we don't understand why this happened, we do know that God is in control and he is near to the broken hearted. Even through the questions, the tears and heartache, we know that Awwal is with his Savior.</p> <p>Till we meet to part no more, rest at the bosom of your maker, Awwal Adebayo Tolulope Ladipo. My first encounter with Awwal was in late 2013. He was very respectful and humble. His death is so painful 💔 and I asked so many *why* questions 💔. May God rest your soul Awwal and comfort your family 👪 💔 🙏 🙏 🙏
