Carolene Dieckman (nee Calihan), passed away on July 30, 2021 at Hopice of Cincinnati in Anderson Township at the age of 73. She was born in Roxanna, Kentucky, daughter of Ann and John Calihan. Carolene was the beloved wife of Jack L. Dieckman for almost 50 years, cherished mother of “miracle baby”, Lee Andrew Dieckman (partner Alexandra Dietzgen), dear sister of Theresa Payne, Susan Wagner, Dale Calihan and the late Gary Calihan. Also survived by her very close friend, Alverdia Moss. Carolene was a longtime member of the New Richmond Garden Club. Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Carolene on Tuesday, August 3 from 9-11 AM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia followed by her funeral service at 11 AM at the funeral home.
