CUMBERLAND – Judy Ann Brown, 71, of Cumberland, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 30, 2021. Born on September 14, 1949, in Ridgeley, WV, she was the daughter of the late William and Elsie (Feaster) Rowe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Robert Brown; in-laws, Robert and Opal Brown; sister, Mary Grace Nair; and brothers-in-law, Edward Conley, Ronald Brown, and Richard Brown; and nephew, James Rowe. She is survived by sisters, Vivian Conley, Petersburg, VA, and Charlene Pickett and husband George, NY; sisters-in-law, Phyllis Morgan and husband Mickey, Bowling Green, MD, Mary Jane Brown, Cumberland, and Terry Brown, Cumberland; brother-in-law, Gary Brown, LaVale; one daughter, Kimberly Brown, Lonaconing; three grandchildren, Zachary, Robert, and Kayla McCarty; a number of nieces and nephews; and one special niece who visited her almost every day of five years, Ashley Jedlowski with Phyllis Morgan. Judy enjoyed attending church, teaching Sunday school, reading her Bible, and books. She worked at Potomac Valley Pharmacy, Christian Music and Bookstore for 29 years, and Westin’s department store. Family and friends will be received at the Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Avenue, Cumberland, on Monday, August 2, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home immediately following visitation at 6 p.m. with Rev.
