Barbara Joyce Miles “Joyce” (nee. Murray) 1953-2021, age 68, passed away peacefully on Sunday July 25th, 2021 at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital. Predeceased by her loving husband Rich. Upon retiring, Joyce and Rich moved to the hills near Creemore with their beloved dog Bella to become, as they referred to themselves, 'gentleman farmers'. Joyce along with her late husband Rich, joined OslerBrook Golf and Country Club in December 2003. Joyce loved her golf and was well known as 'Queen of the Green' for her putting expertise. Her early years were spent organizing the Ladies Member Guest Days, where her creativity and fun-loving side shone through. Perhaps Joyce 's biggest passion project was supporting junior golfers through the CJGA. She loved to see the development of the young golfers into confident tournament players. In more recent years, Joyce moved to Collingwood and established many new friendships. Joyce lived a fulfilling life as a wife, sister and friend. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and her concern for others. Those wishing to honor her life, can make a donation in her name to the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation.
