<p>Carol Jean Smith, age 74 of Gallatin, TN, passed away July 27, 2021.&nbsp; Mrs. Smith was born December 15, 1946 in Lusk, WY.&nbsp; She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lorraine Livermore Taylor.&nbsp; She was married to her&nbsp;husband, the late&nbsp;Tony Roger Smith. She is survived by&nbsp;daughter, Michelle Morton, son, Anthony Smith, granddaughter, Zoe Morton; brother, Wayne Taylor (Ginger); niece, Tiffany Taylor, nephew, Cory Taylor; grand-dogs, Skye and Zeppelin.&nbsp;</p> <p>Mrs. Smith was a nurse and worked for many years at Gallatin Nursing Home.&nbsp; She was a member of Gallatin First Baptist Church where she sang in the choir and served with the Homebound Ministry.&nbsp; She loved her family and her church family.&nbsp; She enjoyed singing, playing the piano and working at the library.</p> <p>Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 6th from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home &amp; Cremation Center with Dr. Travis Fleming officiating. Obituary

Carol Jean Smith, age 74 of Gallatin, TN, passed away July 27, 2021.  Mrs. Smith was born December 15, 1946 in Lusk, WY.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Lorraine Livermore Taylor.  She was married to her husband, the late Tony Roger Smith. She is survived by daughter, Michelle Morton, son, Anthony Smith, granddaughter, Zoe Morton; brother, Wayne Taylor (Ginger); niece, Tiffany Taylor, nephew, Cory Taylor; grand-dogs, Skye and Zeppelin.
