John “Jack” R. Andronaco, 80, passed away Thursday July 29, 2021 at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. He was born on February 7, 1941 in Norwalk, Connecticut to the late Pellegrino Andronaco & Lucy Schiano Andronaco.

Along with his parents, Jack is reunited in passing with his brother in-law, John Salvato.

Jack proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Following his honorable discharge, he went on to become the purchasing manager for several companies. Jacks love for golf led him to Florida where he worked for Lemon Bay Golf Club in Englewood, FL and was a member of Capri Isles course in Venice, FL. Jack and his wife moved to Murrells Inlet where he frequented his favorite course, Blackmoor Golf Club. When Jack wasn’t on the course, he could be found cheering on the Pittsburg Steelers. Jack relished making memories with friends and above all else, loved his family with his whole heart. He will be deeply missed.

Left to cherish Jack’s memory are his adoring wife of 29 years, Darlene J. Andronaco of Murrells Inlet; his children, Scott Andronaco (Tracie) of Orlando, FL & Shelley Morandi (Jim) of Nokomis, FL; step-children, Tammy Whitfield (Jerry) of Lexington, SC, Therese Busch of Elgin, SC, Thomas Schwind, Jr. (Dee) of Myrtle Beach, SC, & Trent Schwind (Jen) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Anthony Morandi, Megan Morandi, Sierra Morandi, Ethan Morandi, Austin Andronaco, & Keeley Andronaco; step-grandchildren, Jennifer Whitfield, & Jason O'Boyle (Kelly); great-grandchildren, Harper, Sawyer, & baby O’Boyle; brother, Lawrence Andronaco (JoAnn) of Norwalk, CT; sisters, Joan Salvato of Norwalk, CT & Paula McMellon (Jim) of Oxford, CT; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins; a large, loving, extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors.

A Celebration of Jack’s life will be held privately.
