Brenda Kay Ellington, 61, of 679 Chambers Loop Rd., Timberlake, died Thursday, July 29, 2021. Born in Granville County, Miss Ellington was the daughter of the late Henry Ellington. Miss Ellington worked for Biomerieux. Miss Ellington is survived by her partner, John Porterfield; her mother, Betty Lou Richard Ellington, of Creedmoor; one brother, Earl Ellington and Diane, of Wake Forest; two sisters, Tammy Chambers and Tim, of Timberlake and Lisa Goss and Glenn, of Creedmoor. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Brooks & White Chapel by the Dr. M. David Chambers and the Rev. Jimmy Hall. Burial will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-2PM Saturday prior to the service and at other times at the home. Pallbearers will be Travis Beal, Mike Chambers, Devin Johnson, Carter Chambers, Quinton Clayton, and Joseph Clayton. Memorials may be made to Liberty Hospice, 3414 N.
