Regina Frances Reeves

Regina Frances Reeves, age 77, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021, in Buckeye Arizona. She was born on February 17, 1944, to the late William G. and Francis Fountain Bournes in Raleigh County in East Beckley West Virginia. She attended and graduated from Stratton High School class of 1961 followed by some college courses at Marshall University. On January 31, 1964, in Rockville Maryland, Regina married her soulmate, Elwyn Nathaniel Reeves. After working for the Veterans Administration Regina and Elwyn moved to San Diego, CA in 1976. Regina became a notary public and was also an Insurance Account Manager for Barney and Barney Insurance Company located in La Jolla, California. Regina traveled around the world with her husband and with the Veterans Administration International Traveling Choir. 

Regina is survived by her loving spouse of 57 years, Elwyn Nathaniel Reeves; four children: daughters, Vanessa Renee Laplant and spouse Guy, Andrea Lauderdale and spouse Marty, Kelly Reeves Gamache and spouse Brian, and son, John Elwyn Reeves; eight grandchildren, Allen, Raven, Matthew, Cianna, Lexi, Mariyah, Naiah and Chazz.  four great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Max, Leo and Lennox; two brothers, William “Freddie” Bournes and Phillip Larry Bournes and many other extended loving family and friends.

Memorial services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at Camino del Sol Funeral Chapel, 13738 W. Camino del Sol, Sun City West, AZ 85375 with Pastor Daniel Scott from Church at Sun Valley officiating.
