Barbara Madie Lobodovsky Obituary

Barbara Madie Lobodovsky, age 76, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021, in Surprise, Arizona.  She was born in Palo Alto, California, on November 6, 1944, the 3rd daughter of Peter and Mae (Irons) Morgan.  Barbara grew up in San Carlos, California, and attended elementary through high school there.  Upon graduation, she entered the Licensed Vocational Nurse training program at College of San Mateo and received an Associate’s Degree in that field.

After her interests changed, she was employed by Pacific Gas and Electric company and worked for many years as a customer service representative in San Francisco.  It was there that she met her beloved husband, Konstantin Lobodovsky, whom she married in 1975.  They were together until his death in 2011.  Barbara and Kon traveled the world together pursuing his interest in electrical and mechanical engineering, continuing their travels after retiring from PG&E.  They resided in Grass Valley, California and Surprise, Arizona.

Barbara is survived by her two loving sisters, Patricia Lujan of El Dorado Hills, California and Sandra Stewart of Chico, California, her two brothers-in-law, Tony Lujan and William Stewart and many, many friends all over the world…..

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 4436 E. McKinley Street, Phoenix, AZ 85008.  Barbara will be joining her beloved husband, Kon, at the Serbian Cemetery in Colima, CA  - Graveside services will be at 11:00 am on Thursday August 5, 2021.
